‍Algemi? What's that?

A promising startup based in Amsterdam, founded by Marinus and Alexander. We strive to help as many organizations as possible embrace the impact of AI. AI will not replace us, but our work will change. It can become easier and more enjoyable if managed well (safely, ethically, and transparently). That's what we focus on, with the help of:

1. Consultancy: we help organizations identify where AI can add value (and where it can't).
2. Technology: we then work on building and scaling these custom solutions (based on our own platform). -> This is where your expertise comes in.

How You Contribute to Our Mission:

You will focus on:

• Setting up and further developing our internal, composable platform. These building blocks form the basis of our custom applications. You will be a co-founder of the technical foundation of Algemi.
• Setting up and scaling custom applications based on existing (GenAI) solutions and/or our platform. You ensure these perfectly meet the needs of our customers (end users).
• Training and mentoring (new) colleagues. You make sure they feel at home and support them in their work.

Ideally, You Bring This Experience:

• You have extensive experience with at least one programming language and know all its ins and outs. You are fine with working mainly in TypeScript and/or Python here and see it as a challenge to master this if you have little experience with it.
• You are particularly strong in the backend, but full stack is also an option (e.g., Angular, Vue, or React).
• You have experience setting up projects from scratch and scaling them.
• You know how to set up and scale an application in the cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• You also have experience setting up composable systems and APIs.
• Finally, you have experience with software development best practices such as DevOps, CI/CD, TDD, and ideally also test automation.
